Please note the following as it pertains to Candidates for Elected Office and their participation in the Fall Foliage Parade:

Candidates will be allowed to march only (not vehicular transportation) with a maximum of two supporters.

Candidates, and the two supporters marching alongside the candidate, are allowed to carry signs for identification purposes only. Maximum size of sign is restricted to 22" x 28" in size. Under no circumstances is a candidate allowed to pass out candy, materials, or literature to the crowd.

Placement of candidate and supporters in the line of march will be made by the Parade Committee and will be done by the drawing of lots for position. Candidates must keep their place in the line of march once located.

It should be noted: that incumbent office holders of the above positions are invited to participate in the parade as incumbents, whether they are candidates for re-election or not.
FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS, PLEASE NOTE:
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, INCLUDING CANDY, BUTTONS ETC. IS TO BE THROWN FROM FLOATS, VEHICLES, ETC. BY ANYONE PARTICIPATING IN THE PARADE. Items may be handed out by individuals marching alongside their parade unit. This is a police directive and a condition of everyone that participates.

The Fall Foliage Parade Committee and 1Berkshire reserve all rights to final decisions on applications. Upon receipt of application and review by the committee, a confirmation email will be sent.

Deadline is September 19, 2025. We can not guarantee a spot in the parade, nor a listing in the parade program for any participants that submit their participant application after September 19.
