ArtWeek Berkshires May 15-25, 2026

Welcome to ArtWeek Berkshires! Individuals and organizations throughout the county are invited to take part in this multi-day festival of creativity. Enter a performance, studio visit, gallery show or talk - anything creative that includes an experiential component! See samples below. Events can be solo or collaborative, pre-planned or created just for ArtWeek. It is FREE to participate and ArtWeek presentations can occur ANYWHERE in Berkshire County! NOTE: All participants are strongly encouraged to offer an experiential element as part of their ArtWeek offering.
Sample ArtWeek Berkshire Events that are Experiential
- Share your artist studio in an Open Studio visit
- Teach a creative workshop at a local venue
- Organize a show, reading or performance with an artist talk
- Open behind-the-scenes activity to visitors
- Showcase comedy in a local cafe
- Create a menu item to celebrate ArtWeek Berkshires
- Demonstrate how you build a guitar
- Invite the artist to meet with patrons once or twice during the duration of the exhibit

About ArtWeek Berkshires

ArtWeek Berkshires is a collaboration of the five Cultural Districts in Berkshire County: Downtown Great Barrington, Lenox, North Adams, Pittsfield (Upstreet Cultural District), and Williamstown. Countywide coordination is provided by Berkshire Regional Planning Commission. Promotional support is generously provided by 1Berkshire.

The Open Studios Series invites the public into your studio or workspace during days/times that you specify. We encourage artists to be present to either demonstrate process/work, or interact with visitors. (Events may be in-person or virtual.)
